What size do my samples need to be?
Our ideal sample size is 24in x 24in with a flat 2in border around the edges to ensure a good seal.
Smaller samples can be tested using adapter plates but may limit the lower frequency range.
What can I do with the test results?
The results will show how much electromagnetic signal your material blocks at frequencies between 10kHz-40GHz.
These values can be used to verify product performance, compare materials, support design decisions, and meet industry compliance or certification requirements.
How long does the testing process typically take?
Standard tests are typically completed within 1-3 business days depending on the total number of samples tested and other variables like custom test fixturing, unique test requirements, etc.

Will my samples be damaged during testing?
Our test method is non-destructive. The sample is clamped between two conductive surfaces using compressible gaskets to ensure a clean seal without drilling, cutting or any other permanent modification.
All samples are returned as delivered once testing is completed.
What if my material has an irregular shape or holes/openings?
We can often test non-standard shapes using custom adapter plates or filler panels.
How do the test results compare to the various industry standards?
The values obtained can be compared a wide range of industry standards such as MIL-STD-285, IEEE 299-2006, MIL-STD-188-125-1/2, etc.
