EN 61000-4-3 Testing – Radiated Electromagnetic Field Immunity
EN 61000-4-3 test standard evaluates the immunity of electrical and electronic equipment when subjected to radiated, radio-frequency electromagnetic fields. The EN 61000-4-3 test method assesses the immunity of an equipment or system against a defined phenomenon.
EN 61000-4-3 testing labs address immunity tests related to the protection against RF electromagnetic fields from any source. Particular considerations are devoted to the protection against radio-frequency emissions from digital radiotelephones and other RF emitting devices.
Most electronic equipment is, in some manner, affected by electromagnetic radiation. This radiation is frequently generated by such general-purpose sources. The small hand-held radio transceivers are used by operating vehicle radio transmitters, and various industrial electromagnetic sources. In addition to electromagnetic energy deliberately generated, there is also radiation caused by devices such as welders, thyristors, fluorescent lights, switches operating inductive loads, etc.
Keystone Compliance has developed into one of the best EN 61000-4-3 test labs in the country by focusing on compliance. Our engineers thoroughly understand the requirements of EN 61000 4 3 testing. We work with manufacturers to identify ways to overcome testing challenges.
Whether it be addressing the gaskets, power supplies, shielding, or other components, our expert engineers strive to assist every manufacturer with having their device meet the EN 61000-4-3 test requirements. This approach has grown our EMC compliance lab to now include five separate EMC test chambers including three 3-meter test chambers.
Keystone Compliance assists manufacturers with IEC 61000-4-3 and EN 61000-4-3 test compliance. Please contact us for more information on how Keystone Compliance can assist you with identifying and fulfilling your EN 61000-4-3 needs.
