EN 61000-4-13 Testing – Harmonics & Interharmonics

EN 61000 4 13 testing defines the immunity test methods and range of recommended basic test levels. These levels are for electrical and electronic equipment with a rated current up to 16 A per phase at disturbance frequencies. The frequencies can range as much as 2 kHz and 2,4 kHz for harmonics and interharmonics on low voltage power networks.

The scope of an EN 61000-4-13 test program evaluates the functional immunity of electrical and electronic equipment. EN 6100-4-13 is only when subjected to harmonics and interharmonics and mains signaling frequencies.

The test method documented in EN-61000-4-13 assesses the immunity of an equipment or system against a defined phenomenon. EN 61000-4-13 also defines harmonics, interharmonics, and mains signaling (ripple control) sources.
