Boeing D6-85182 is used in conjunction with the LRU-specific environmental qualification testing template. This template will be provided by Boeing at the Initial Technical Coordination Meeting (ITCM).
Boeing D6-85182 contains all of the procedures that do not change, regardless of the LRU being tested. The LRU-specific environmental template is used to document those things (for example, test setups and operating modes) that do change based on which type of LRU is being tested, which types of operating modes there are, and so forth.
Each of the test titles states whether that particular test is adequate for 787 or non-787 or Combined 787/non-787. For example, if the part is being installed only on a 787, only the tests with “787” in their title need to be run. If it will be installed on both 787 and non-787, only the tests with “Combined 787/non-787” need to be run. The designation “Combined 787/non-787” means that the most-stringent requirements from either the 787 or the non-787 requirements.
