What It Evaluates
Use representative production equipment with either 3.85–4.25% propane by volume or the specified 1.8-stoichiometric n-hexane mixture. Install normal cooling and loads, and allow equipment and chamber walls to come within 11°C of chamber air temperature before introducing vapor.
When It Applies
Applicability depends on the airborne equipment installation, declared category, aircraft environment, and program requirements.
