What It Evaluates
Fireproof and fire-resistant testing uses a kerosene burner calibrated to 1,100 ±80°C, positioned approximately 100 mm from the equipment, with at least 4,500 Btu/hr transferred during intensity calibration. Flammability sets normally contain at least three specimens, conditioned at 21 ±3°C and 50 ±5% RH for at least 24 hours.
