What It Evaluates
Apply nominal input voltage while operating in maximum- and minimum-current modes. Use at least 30 frequencies per decade with a 1-minute dwell, or a continuous sweep no faster than 60 minutes per decade.
Equipment Categories:
- R(CF), R(NF), R(WF): Constant-, narrow-variable-, or wide-variable-frequency AC systems.
- R, B, Z: Transformer-rectified, battery-supported, or other DC systems.
- K: AC systems with higher expected voltage distortion.
When It Applies
Applicability depends on the airborne equipment installation, declared category, aircraft environment, and program requirements.
