What It Evaluates
Use a 5 ±1% sodium-chloride solution at 35°C, maintained at pH 6.5–7.2. Fog fallout must remain between 1–3 mL/80 cm²/hr, with no direct nozzle impingement or dripping condensation.

Applicability depends on the airborne equipment installation, declared category, aircraft environment, and program requirements.
