What It Evaluates
Select particle composition, concentration, temperature, velocity, orientation, and operation from the service environment. Ground the item against static buildup and maintain 30% RH or less during dust exposure. Use dust below 150 µm or sand between 150–850 µm.
When It Applies
Applies when the product lifecycle, platform, storage, transport, deployment, or operating environment includes credible exposure.
